Cotton Wool and Wastes from Spinning Mills
Among other textile products that our company offers on request, we should mention cotton wool and waste from spinning mills. The cotton wool we supply has the “Prima” quality, that is, it is contaminated by less than 5%. This is a carded wool consisting of raw cotton of 2nd (Light Spotted), 3rd (Spotted) and 4th (Tinged) Grades, cotton linters of Type B (staple length 6–7 mm and less), motes or regenerated fibers and spinning wastes. Such cotton wool is pressed into bales (bound with metal ties and wrapped in non-woven material), each weighing 180–210 kg.
The quality of cotton wool is agreed alongside with the price upon presentation of a product sample. Its main parameters are according to O’zDSt 1029:2003. The origin of “Prima” cotton wool is the Republic of Uzbekistan. The waste from spinning mills we offer are generally beater droppings (standard 3), lickerin/doffer droppings (Standard 7), flat strips (Standard 11) or a purified mixture of the above. Their quality is assessed according to the Russian industrial standard OST 17-88-86.
Waste from spinning mills is not only an excellent raw material for the production of non-woven materials, but also a commodity for cotton spinning mills, which makes it possible to cut the prime cost of finished products in the thicker yarns manufacturing (to be added for blending in an amount of 5–15%).
